Elena Salmistraro reimagines the surfaces of Signature Kitchen Suite appliances in the new Dual Code capsule collection, designing two cabinets with original, colorful graphics that wrap around the Undercounter Wine Cellar and the Convertible Undercounter Refrigerator.
Each of the two designs—Supernova and Vector—is available in three color variants, created in collaboration with Abet Laminati. They take the appliance out of its “comfort zone,” inspiring new compositions and combinations, and transforming technology into a true design object.
Elena Salmistraro is an Italian product designer and artist. She graduated in Fashion Design and Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano and founded her own studio in 2009, working across design, art, fashion, and illustration. Her style, rich in textures and vibrant colors, focuses on the harmony of forms, expressed through the animism and poetic storytelling of the objects she creates. Elena has collaborated with leading companies in the industry, including Disney, Apple, Alessi, Cappellini, Florim, and Bosa. Her work has earned her numerous national and international awards.
